Tilaye is from Shimsha, 10 Km. from Lalibela. His parents are subsistence farmers and are very poor.
He did very well in his grade 12 national exams and is now in his first year studying Veterinary Medicine at Mekele University.
It has been agreed to support him with 600 Birr per month.
